Today was a busy day with some 1:1 training and a content shoot so was a little more interesting than most of my days that look like 8+ hours at my desk alternating between sitting and standing! 

Sharing ‘day in the life’ style content helps build trust and connection - giving your audience a real, relatable glimpse behind the scenes of who you are and what you do.

Mondays are my “half mum, half work” days, and I was trying to film some day-in-the-life content when Florence decided to make her grand entrance ready to head out for some errands.

I had a big day of off-site meetings today - a rar I had a big day of off-site meetings today - a rare one where I wasn’t in trackies, slippers, and hiding behind a computer screen.

I love fashion and it used to be a huge part of my identity.

But after years of IVF, body changes, and the shift to working from home, I haven’t quite found my new style.

This morning I really struggled to find the right outfit for the multiple events I had on today and was feeling pretty deflated as I walked down the stairs…

Then came the voice of my three-year-old:

“Mummy! You’re sooooo pretty - I love your dress and your boots!”

My own little hype girl 🥹🥰 And just like that, I remembered.

She’s watching. She’s listening. She’s copying.

And I need to show up with the same confidence I hope to raise her with.

So here’s our first ever fit check - maybe this is the beginning of me re-finding my style… and showing up for both of us. 💫
Yesterday was the most perfect winter’s day for Yesterday was the most perfect winter’s day for the Picnic in the Paddock event at @lazy_cow_farm_  as part of the @jumpersandjazzinjuly Festival.

All signage was put together by my talented bestie @birdandbranchdesign and the event was styled by the Queen of events @laceandbarrel 

Already looking forward to next year… although will try to remember not to wear white pants!

Planning ahead means less stress, more consistency, and better-performing content. And means I could take Friday afternoon off for a nice long lunch! 

That’s the power of outsourcing strategy-backed content - it keeps your brand visible while you keep doing what you do best.

After a recent enquiry, I got chatting with the new client about how they came across my business.

And their answer was a first for me… “I asked ChatGPT who would be a good fit to help me with digital marketing - and you came up.”

They went on to explore my website, checked out one or two other suggestions, then used Instagram to get a feel for me. And that sealed the deal.

This moment made me realise:
✅ We need to be optimising for AI, not just Google
✅ Every touchpoint- especially socials - is doing the heavy lifting before a client even says hello or gives you a follow
✅ Your vibe really does attract your tribe

And remember… you never know who’s watching. Or should I say ‘what’ is watching 😉

Today I watched a webinar with Adam Schwab (CEO & co-founder of Luxury Escapes) and his words were a powerful reminder. 👉 “Marketing brings them in. But customer service brings them back.”

It reminded me of a client who hired me to “improve their image” through socials and digital marketing. But behind the scenes, they hadn’t addressed their poor service.

Sure, we were attracting new customers, but without fixing the experience, they were never going to build loyalty, trust or return patronage.

Marketing and customer service aren’t separate. They work together in sharing your brand promise.

Maybe it’s time to check... is your client experience and your marketing working together or pulling in different directions?
